The world of postage stamps would be easy to upload from your Internet.
We've prepared some activities where, you and your partner from different than your Country, would need to do a small research and even to use maths.
Natural values, folk tradition, brands, geographical beauties, natural beauties (as, perhaps, National Parks, rivers, waterfalls) will be tackled via postage stamps.A postcard writing is one of the tasks for you. But, an unusual one.
PROCEDURE:
1. with the peer from prevoious activity, pupils choose one to 5 postage stamps from their country and exchange it/them with the peering partner. They need to do some research on information asked from each partner. The task is finished when both of them finish (exchange) their tasks by uploading them in the folder prepared for them.
2. Some tips:
Adapt the task to the pupils' age. The youngest choose one postage stamp (one town, a National Park, an island...) and send to their peering partners. They receive a small task ( find the name of that NP, for instance), do it and exchange the task with the peer. The others could choose to prepare a 5 stamp postage stamp on the envelope and exchange with the peer to investigate one information for each stamp. After that, they write a small, 5 sentence card where they include these 5 information about the partner's postage stamps. Everything will be joined in a video.
DEADLINE: February 17th
