Lego trainings in our countries

  • IN POLAND

    LEGO ENGINEERING

The teachers of the Polish partner school took part in a training concerning Lego engineering which took part in the department of ICT and materials science of the Institute of Technology and Mechatronics of the Silesian University in Sosnowiec. We participated in Lego workshops and got to know a lot of interesting information related to the usage of Lego EV3 sets in education. We also had the opportunity to construct and program robots of our own ideas.

Take a look at the short video:

    AT THE POLISH SCHOOL

Lego training concerning construction and programming Lego robots and devices was organized at the Polish school. The workshops with robotics were conducted by Regional Teacher Training Centre "WOM" in Bielsko-Biala in cooperation with the Robotics Laboratory project. Teachers of Technology, ICT, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and English took part in the training. We learnt how to use LEGO MINDSTORMS 2.0 Education EV3 kits in education. We built different robots with Lego bricks and then programmed them to do different kinds of things, for example go forward, stop or move in particular direction. Then, we tested if the robots were programmed in appropriate way. We deepened our knowledge of Lego, developed skills of constructing and programming as well as had a lot of fun! We are sure our students will also enjoy working with Lego!

    IN CYPRUS

On the 17th of November, we had our introductory course, in constructing and programming Lego robots! We had the chance to build our robot and then to create some simple programs to see how our robot was reacting!

These are some pictures from our course:
