JOINT STAFF TRAINING IN CYPRUS

  • MUTUAL TRAINING WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

It's much easier to learn and teach when you know that we can rely on our partners!

From 26th April to 3rd May 2015 the Polish and Cypriot teachers participated in the first short time joint staff training in Cyprus. We attended the ‘Educational robotics workshop’ held by the representatives of the University of Cyprus. During the course we could deepen our knowledge about pedagogical approaches of teaching different subjects, we discussed how students learn and got to know new implications for computer science education. We developed our skills of teaching Mathematics and Physics through robotics. We also solved different kinds of tasks within Math and Physics  connected with programming Lego robots and made calculations concerning the usage of robots in teaching science subjects. The language of the course was English, thus all the teachers were able to  improve their language skills. We received special certificates proving the competences and skills we got. Additionally, the Polish teachers cold visit many interesting places and monuments of Cyprus and got to know Cypriot culture. The partners of both schools made new friendships and are looking forward to seeing each other in Poland.
