    Comments from Germany:

In Nigeria and India only rich people can buy clean water.

In India 1€ are 77 Rupia and a bottle of Nestlé "pure life" costs 17 Rupia. It's to expensiv for the most people.

At Nigeria 1€ are 214 Naira and a bottle of Nestlé "pure life" costs 100 Naira. 1 Liter of gas costs 65 Naira. So its 35 Naira cheaper than the water.

People in Maine, America say: That Nestlé is molesting them with their trucks, because they always drive, all night and all day 24 hours 7 days the week. (They produce noise)

Nestlé is pumping to much groundwater so the groundwater line drops low.

The people in America can fight because they have money for a lawyer. Some other countrys are too poor for a lawyer.

This documentary shows that globalization is not always good.

Nestle is a powerful multinational food and beverage company. The film "Bottled Life" presents its actions and practices around the world.Whether it promotes business in the USA,Ethopia, Pakistan or Nigeria, the steps followed are almost identical .The company exploits local water sources, puts the water into bottles and sells it. In a country such as the USA,as it was very well mentioned by the German e-twinning team, people have the right educational and financial background  to fight Nestle and its devious plans. Unfortunately  the rest of the people in Ethiopia,Pakistan and Nigeria are either too weak, scared or ill to stand up for their right to a little water coming from the water sources of their own country.

The truth remains ugly: "If you can afford a piece of ``bottled life`` (water) then you have a chance to save your life!''

    Dear Maria,

    you are totally right.

After watching the documentary, we were really upset.  Now we try to avoid buying water from Nestlé or any other products. We know that Nestle is not the only global player that works like this, but it is so difficult to know about these things and we are not able to do anything. We want to find out about projects that fight against these methods of global players. We also try to find out how we can act as customers.

    Natalie, Germany e-twinning team.
