Finally a crew o 6 Basic VET training students and 2 instructors arrived in Tomelloso/Spain in order to build the geodome at AFAS facilities. Despite heavy rains and adverse conditions the building crew worked relentlessly and managed to finish the 9 meters wide and 4 meters high cupola reusing old fence poles and pallets found on the site. In the course of the remaining 3 days, the German students, with the support of AFAS and IES García Pavón, will further embellish the construction, install an entrance and plant jazmine and ivy in order to provide a shade roof for hot summers when temperatures here in southern Spain often reach over 40 degrees Celsius.
