eTwinning TEACHER TRAINING SESSIONS IN OUR SCHOOLS

  • SCHOOL ACTION PLAN

    According to our school action plan, both Italy and Catalonia aim   to involve in eTwinning as many teachers as possible, but how do we manage to make them feel confident and sure in front of a Twinspace? how can they get motivated to start a new eTwinning project with some European patners? 

    The school provides them some teacher training sessions, so they can learn about eTwinning and practice how to work there

    A new eTwinning Development Workshop has started in our schools.

    A new session of our Teacher Training course about eTwinning and Tradition@lia.eT school eTwinning project in Sant Josep school, Navàs, Catalonia.

    Useful practices to learn about eTwinning live, Twinspace and new 2.0 ICT tools to use not only in eTwinning but also in other innovative lessons: Padlet, myavatar etc.

    3rd Teacher training meeting in Sant Josep school!

    Today we met with our Italian partners and learnt how to make a live event.

    Although the connection was not very good, it was useful for us to learn how to manage with Adobe connect!

    We also learnt some new tools which will be very useful for our teaching lessons!

     

     

                           

     

    Ottavo Circolo Piacenza, Italy

    October 2019 : 1st session of eTwinning training and related eTwinning event. Teachers  start to know the platform and share the project steps . The meeting is followed by workshops where the groups learn how to create an event and how to plan a project.

    January 2020-  eTwinning event for 2nd Teachers'training  and workshop. The group of teachers share the eTwinning School Mission and enter some project steps, taking into account some tools as Padlet, and Mentimeter. The following  workshop is aimed to plan activities for the three project levels, with some of them in Continuity ( Primary students as tutors for Pre Primary pupils )

     

    26th February:: even if in lockdown for COVID EMERGENCY we have an online meeting with Catalan Partners : coordinators and some teachers take partt hrough Adobe Connect .

     Teachers  at Ottavo Circolo Piacenza are invited to share their opinion on eTwinning, filling a GOOGLE FORM to express what's eTwinning for some of them

     

                         MARCH  APRIL   MAY 

    Our town is terribly involved in COVID disease and hospitals are full. Families and teachers are upset, but the collaboration grows together with the resilience and  eTwinning is our common ground. Teachers take part in online professional development paths to improve the online teaching and keep on collaborating and working in net to share the project steps, also with other schools in our region  (meeting with teachers at Govoni school in Ferrara)

    JUNE Two online TRAINING EVENTS are planned with the aim to:

    - share the experiences of distance teaching and project management;

     - evaluate the training paths with the occurred changes;

     - learn more about the professional development and the group activites offered by eTwinning;

     - disseminate and share our process and outcomes.

    " Diving into etwinning and new ICT tools to work online"

     

    During the workshop, teachers have discovered interesting eTwinning projects which gave them good ideas to run a new project. Example: Covid-19 in eTwinning

    We also learned new ICT tools will help to develop ICT skills to teacher and studentws in furture projects:

    - Storyjumper

    - Edpuzle

    - Tricider

    - Clipboards on Twinspace pages
