The activity C2"LIFE IN NUMBERS" - short-term exchange of groups of students, took place from 09.02 to 15.02.2020 in IES Castillo de Luna-La Puebla de Cazalla, Spain. 21 foreign students accompanied by 12 teachers took part in the meeting. On the part of the host school participated 21 students and 7 teachers and school staff.
The main objectives of the activity were to make the education of mathematics more accessible and attractive for the students, to acquaint the participants with brief information about the countries, cities and schools of the project organizations, as well as to visit some of the most famous sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List: the Alhambra architectural complex in Granada, the Mesquita de Córdoba Cathedral in Córdoba, the Alcázar Palace in Seville.
During the mobility the participants got acquainted with the golden section and the Fibonacci series - the students showed presentations they made about the theory, calculation of their values and their observation and application in mathematics, natural world, architecture, Art.
The students were divided into four international teams including participants from all countries involved in the project. They built a Nasrid bow tie and various important proportions with Geogebra, played The Gymkhana - a game with various math tests, activated with QR codes.
The students gave presentations of their countries, cities and schools. After the presentations, the hosts had prepared a test with the Kahoot platform, the purpose of which was to check what the students had learned on the presented topics.
