Instructions for the project

  • THIS PAGE IS PUBLIC

    Welcome to the project!

This project is going to be very flexible....

Student teachers will use this project to find out about eTwinning, to practise using some of the Twinspace tools and to think about how they might use eTwinning and international links in their future teaching careers.

This is a page with instructions about how to use the project and suggestions about the activities during the year.  At any time, please get in touch if you need help.

    Autumn term

eTwinning workshops.  Introduction to eTwinning.  Launch of the project.

Add to the 'Introductions' Forum: introduce yourself, and add to others' threads.  Try to get to know some of the other participants in the project.

Edit your own profile page: you could add a photo and a short introduction.

Add to the Project Journal - tell us what you have been doing.  The project journal is public, so please don't put photographs of school students unless you are sure parental permission has been given.

Share ideas on the Page called Curriculum topics and resources - use a separate page for each idea so that it's easy to look around.

Add information - maybe with your students in school - about festivals and traditions so that we can learn from each other.

Add information and pictures (with permission) about your university and your placement school - again so that we can learn from each other.

    Suggest other pages...

Don't forget that you also have access to eTwinning Live and the partner forum for Teacher Trainees.  You may find someone there who would like to work with you this year.

    Spring term

    Main school placement (in England).

Activities, which you can help to suggest, for you or your school students to work and learn together.

    Summer term

Reflections and looking forward - how can you use eTwinning next year?

Make sure you get the contact details of people you would like to work with next year.  When you join eTwinning, you can become eTwinning contacts and set up a project together.

There will be a reflections page.

Reflections by university tutors and eTwinning Ambassadors - how can we improve this idea?
