El origen del día 25 noviembre: las hermanas Mirabal - 1981

25 noviembre se honra la memoria de las hermanas Mirabal, tres activistas políticas de la República Dominicana que fueron brutalmente asesinadas en 1960 por orden del gobernante dominicano, Rafael Trujillo (1930-1961).

En algunos países el color elegido para simbolizar este día es naranja pero es cierto que en numerosas ciudades españolas es el morado

Since antiquaty women have been subjected of violence, especially by men.
For 77,7% of cases men are violent because they consider woman their property, for 75,5% because they abuse drugs and alchool and another 75% for the men necessity to feel themselves superior to their partner or wife.
Everybody have to remember women metter and all we must protect them for a better world, for say to everyone violence is never the solution, violence kills all the beautiful thinks of the life!

En el 77,7% de los casos, los hombres son violentos porque consideran a la mujer como su propiedad, en el 75,5% porque abusan de las drogas y la escuela y en otro 75% por la necesidad de los hombres de sentirse superiores a su pareja o esposa.
Todo el mundo tiene que recordar a las mujeres reunidas y todos debemos protegerlas para un mundo mejor, porque decirles a todos que la violencia nunca es la solución, ¡la violencia mata a todos los pensamientos hermosos de la vida!

The expression gender violence refers to all forms of violence, from psychological and physical to sexual, from the acts of persecution of the so-called stalking to rape, to femicide, which affect a large number of people discriminated against on the basis of sex. From the 1970s onwards, feminist movements began to mobilize against gender-based violence, both in terms of rape and in terms of mistreatment and domestic violence. The movement questioned the patriarchal family and the role of man in his function of "husband / father-master", no longer wanting to accept any form of violence exerted on women outside or within the family. The first anti-violence centers were born only in the late nineties from women's associations of the women's movement. Today there are various organizations working on various types of gender-based violence. To live in a better world, women must be protected, violence is never the solution.
