    ROBOT
    1.INSPIRATION

R.U.R. is a 1920 science fiction play by the Czech writer Karel Čapek. R.U.R. stands for Rossumovi Univerzální Roboti (Rossum's Universal Robots). The English phrase "Rossum's Universal Robots" has been used as a subtitle. It premiered on 25 January 1921 and introduced the word "robot" to the English language and to science fiction as a whole.
The play begins in a factory that makes artificial people, called roboti (robots), from synthetic organic matter. They are living creatures of artificial flesh and blood rather than machinery. They may be mistaken for humans and can think for themselves. They seem happy to work for humans at first, but a robot rebellion leads to the extinction of the human race.

    Slovak painter Ernest Zmeták
who devoted himself to painting and graphics, drawing and monumental production. Its sources became a tribute to the internal legality of things and a touch on the structural geometric foundations of the presented motif.

    STANCIULICĂ STELUȚA-GRĂDINIȚA NO 1 TÂRGOVIȘTE

    1. Inspiration

In this painting we can see the powerful influence that the period in which he dwelt in the Fontainebleau forests of Barbizon, left him in the memory of the Romanian painter. Throughout his entire career, he remained faithful to this motif that revealed to him more than any other, the grandeur of light and the effects of shadows that it leaves in the ever-shimmering foliage of the forest.

    3. PROJECT

While processing this topic, students had the opportunity to represent this artwork with LEGO bricks.

Moreover, they used it to create their own masterpieces using Modrian's technique.
