Our project goals are first of all to find practical environmental protection measures for the school and their implementation. As ambassadors for climate protection, we want to make a change in school and through our pupils and teachers also have an impact on our society with the environmental idea and thus create an active climate protection. Other objectives are the European dimension of teaching and learning at our schools and, through new teaching and assessment methods, to improve the teaching and acquisition of important key competences and skills for more self-regulated learning. Further we will improve foreign languages by using them in an authentic way in the host country. A better Togetherness, characterised by attentiveness and tolerance, should be made possible through exchange. We want that Europe and the values of the EU become important for teachers and students of our institution. In other words, a greater understanding of this European idea should help to better interact and promote tolerance.
Therefore it is necessary for pupils to carry out transnational activities with their teachers and to act as multipliers of the European idea for other pupils and society.
The main contents are environment, language promotion, democracy and tolerance. Therealrady has been a partnership with a school in Alsace, which we want to expand with this project.
Objectives according to target groups:
The PUPILS are aware of the importance of environmental protection. They perceive environmental protection as positive, train analytical and critical thinking and develop innovative and creative solutions and products.
TEACHERS apply and encourage interdisciplinary and innovative thinking. They relate diversity of the pupils, especially those with a migration background, into their teaching arrangements.
PARENTS are more strongly and actively represented in the school community and their knowledge is valued.
SCHOOLS are increasingly experiencing themselves as a learning community and are opening up to innovative teaching and assessment practices and make "Europe" a visible part of their everyday school life.
