    Welcome to the new project that we established with the kind permission of Mrs Laurence Petite, named  “Knitting our Common European Future with the threads of our National Culture” .

    The main idea is that we all feel that we are separate and valuable members of the European Union, that we all have the right to participate equally and dynamically in this European common future. Everyone has to offer a unique national tradition in history, culture, ancient and contemporary art, politics, tradition, sports… to become feasible our goal: Because for the future to be born it must be supported by our past and present we live, so it has unique value to have a solid foundation to build on it a life worthy to live and to transmit through it our cultural tradition to anyone who needs it, who wants to belong to it, who admires it, who wants to embrace and adopts it as a lifestyle.

     

    Why "Knitting"? Because it's an art to use materials of different things and create beauty, useness, culture. We respect to different people with different ways of living and understand life, culture, religion, and all these by using the ability of collaboration, communication, reflection to knit, built a wonderful common European world to live happily.

     

    This project is designed with the following proposals and thoughts, but it'll be flexible and will include all proposals of members -colleagues acceding to this work. We give an indicative timetable with activities and their completion dates and a map of the pages of our project. Please do not add pages without prior concertation so that we can have a clear picture of the projects will be carried out each time and not get confused.

     

    Each activity will have its own page.

    • Each page is for each activity and schools working on it.

    • Also you will find pages where your interstate - interschool groups will work together to complete specific activities in order to meet and work harmoniously together.

     

    We invite our partners to:

    A. Introduce their students to the project as soon as possible

    B. Set up in each student a voki or character with another online tool, giving only their name and the first letter of their surname along with preferences, interests, favorite activities, information about their school life.

    C. Encourage students to participate in the blog of the project to know each other better, each student also has the space where it can receive and send messages to peers, those interested.

    D. Please consult very often the schedule and map pages of our project to operate with policy, security, clarity and efficiency.
