    SLOVENIAN students tasting:

    a) the SPANISH honey

From the Spanish school San Viator we received "miel de brezo" (heather honey).

First we tasted the honey in our class:

Students liked the honey a lot - it received 14 points ouf of 15!

Next day, the students of our beekeeping club tasted the honey too, but they took a more professional approach to it. :-)

Žan D., a beekeeping club member reported:

On a warm Friday morning we tested the honey that we got from Spain. Our beeclub teacher brought some interesting devices.

We tested how much water there is in the honey as well as electrical conductivity. It turned out that that honey was flower honey and not forest honey.

Furthermore we observed pollen under the microscope. The pollen was different shapes.

    b) the RÉUNION'S honey

We received three honey jars from the French school San Viator:

 honey 1 = miel de fleurs de bois de couleurs (wild flower honey)

     honey 2 = letchis (lychee honey)

 honey 3 = miel de fleurs de baies roses (rose honey)

... and the winner is HONEY 3 (= miel de fleurs de baies roses):

    c) the BELGIAN honey

We received five honey jars from the Belgian school Don Bosco. In all jars apart from honey in the jar 4, there was Belgian flower honey. The honey was made from the surrounding areas with grass, some trees and field flowers.

The honey in the jar 4 was from Togo Africa and it had a very special taste.

... and the winner is HONEY 1:
