In Spain, as well as in Catalonia, we sing Xmas carols or villancicos to announce that Jesus is born. Moreover, we get a lot of presents. In Catalonia, children hit a lock, taken from the forests, to make it poo their presents while singing Caga Tió song, on the 25th December at night. In January, the 3 Kings from the East also bring presents in their camels to Spanish children on the 5th January at night. We eat fish and delicious meat dishes, and we get overweight for some days eating all kind of sweets. Once in a year, it's well worth it!
