Sauga Basic School started the new year with a visit to the Tammiste care home. On January 7, Sauga school students had the pleasure of performing to the residents of Tammiste care home. In cooperation with music teacher Tiina Männik, several different performances were prepared for the concert. Children played different instruments, singers, choirs and bands performed songs. The performance coincided with the Orthodox Christmas holiday, and for this purpose Karolina Toomsalu, a Russian teacher, helped the 6th and 8th grade students prepare two Russian songs as well.
