The project is about the oldest means of transport- travelling on foot - and its importance and reasons for doing it in the past and nowadays. This project application explores pathways/ roads and their changes over the years and looks at the reasons for these changes. It is a journey into the past, which unravels ancient history and connects it to the present. The journey is a unifying symbol of historical trade routes, roads of emperors, kings and princes, tradespeople, soldiers, sailors, pilgrims as well as routes of immense cultural and historical heritage, connecting all the parts of Europe.
