During the two years of the project there will be six different mobilities.
In each mobility, a set of activities will be developed within the frame of the agreed topics.
Ireland - Kick Off Meeting;
Turkey: “Once upon a time” - dealing with international tales;
Hungary: “From city to forest” - dealing with informative texts;
Portugal: “Say it with a poem” - learning about and producing poems;
Finland: “A taste of my country” - dealing with recipes;
Poland: Arranging activities on the four main topics of the project, final
evaluation, dealing with the final report.
The responsibilities of the hosting institutions are as follows: organizing the meeting, sending itineraries of it well in advance, booking accommodation, organizing meals, local transportation, giving help organizing internal travel and ensuring the security of participants.
Preparing students to attend a mobility is also very important and we will pay close attention to the following:
- Language preparation: the working language is English so it is very important to practice everyday situations with the pupils, but it will be useful to learn some phrases of the language of the host country too.
- Cultural preparation: It is essential to provide pupils with the knowledge about the country they are going to visit. It will be done with the help of powerpoint presentations, short films and research activities. They will also be ready to have presentations about their school, surroundings and countries.
- To ensure the children’s safety we will have meetings with parents, staff and children. We will ask for a declaration of the parents to allow them taking part in the mobilities. We will take out insurance policies for them. Before the mobility we will organize meetings for the parents and pupils where we will inform them about the main activities and purpose of the mobility.
