    Day 2

Under the direction of Juan Fernández we work actively on innovative methodologies that can be more motivating for our students.

Juan transmitted to us all his passion for teaching, how to motivate, how to capture the attention of our students, etc...

Juan is a primary school teacher, and at the same time a teacher trainer, he is a person passionate about teaching, if you want to consult more information about him and his work you can find it on social networks, on iVoox and on his website:

At Ruiz de Alda we wanted to take advantage of this occasion to celebrate the Erasmus Days. To this end, we invite teachers and students involved in another Erasmus+ project that is also being developed in our centre: "Les neurosciences au service des apprentissages et de la prévention du décrochage scolaire" to take part in the event.

    TRAINING DAYS FOR COORDINATORS

Prior to this meeting, the coordinator of the project, the professor of the department of mathematics, María Carmen Neira, attended the training days for coordinators that were held in Madrid on 19 and 20 September, organized by the national agency SEPIE. They were two intense days with a lot of information and where to share the illusion of beginning, in many cases our first project, with colleagues from all over Spain.

Along with Mari Carmen, also the mathematics teachers Marta Victoria and Mª Ángeles Martínez will be in the most direct work from our centre.

PREPARING THE MEETING SPAIN - OCT 19

Of course, the teachers of IES Ruiz de Alda de San Javier, participants in the project, met several times to prepare the contents of this first international meeting.

In addition to the teachers of the department of mathematics, we count on the collaboration of other members of our center, to try to integrate in our project a greater number of subjects, they are: Enrique Veganzones (Department of Plastic Arts), Cristina Ramón (D. of English), Mª José Delgado (D. of Economics) and Ana Villena (D. of Computer Science and Technology). We hope that this network will continue to grow in such a way that the network generated involves a greater number of students.

In short, our first meeting was three days of intense work, but we also found time to introduce our partners to the cities of Cartagena and Murcia. In summary, they were days to get to know each other, to learn, to share a lot of time, many experiences and hopes that we will transmit to our students throughout the FRIENDLY MATHS project.
