HONOUR, HONOUR, HONOUR TO THE POLISH PARTNER SCHOOL

AND TO ITS COORDINATOR: JOLANTA

IN MAY 2019 THE 5 TEAMS MET IN LUBLIN FOR A NEW OLYMPIC TRANSNATIONAL CHALLENGE.

THE RECEPTION WAS SIMPLY WONDERFUL. 

WE were stunned by the impressive sports facilites which include a large indoor swimming pool.

We have learnt a new dance and shown many traditional ones displayed with colourful traditional polish costumes. A galore of colours!

The Italians have tought it to their mates once back at school and also showed it at a village party in  the country village of Castelvecchio in June where there were also the mayor of our city council and some other representatives.

Beautiful games held at school and a very instructive visit and activities at the university of Lublin where we learnt Woitila, or Pope Giovanni Paolo II had been a teacher there.

Families were incredebly welcoming.

So was the school staf and headmistress.

We appreciated the whole stay and activities also on consideration of the long and exausting nationa strike of the teachers in Poland which had closed and slowed school activities.

Jolanta you Rock ! You made a miracle!
