The idea behind the project is to make pupils embrace diversity by getting more knowledgeable about other European countries in today’s increasingly interconnected and globalised world. There is no doubt that educating pupils about all the positive aspects of cultures, other than their own, will make them widen their horizons and help them break down the barriers of prejudice. The ultimate goal of this project is to engage pupils in an enjoyable learning experience where they will develop competences to succeed in the creation of ‘Multicultural Fairs’ envisioned to celebrate diversity.
