Many of us use products with a long transport history which produce a long CARBON FOOTPRINT. Through this project we want to make pupils aware what products grow in their REGIONAL BACKYARD and show them ways, how they can shrink their carbon footprint. In combination with their parents they will be instructed, how to prepare simple and easy dishes with products from this backyard. The project is divided into four sections, related to the seasons, SPRING and SUMMER in the first year, FALL and WINTER in the second year.
