DAY 2: Museo, Gomero Whistle and Programa Brujula

  • On our second day at CEIP Isabel la Catolica we first listened to the presentation the Greek students prepared about local flora and fauna.

Afterwards the Spanish students presented the final product of their project on local flora and fauna. They learned about biology, practiced creative writing, speaking skills, English and ICT and brought all of this together in de Museum the had prepared for the European guests.

Afterwards we continued to a demonstration of the Gomero Whistle, a language system used on the island of Gomera.

We made time for an evaluation of the day and afterwards our host school treated us to the lovely botanical garden of Palmetum where we could see the indigenous plants and animals from the project in real life.
