ABOUT THE PROJECT

  • About the project

Gender stereotypes are present in many aspects of our everyday lives, including in education. These stereotypes influence not only the students’ attitudes and behaviour at school, but also the teachers and their teaching practices. The main aim of the project is to make students aware of the fact that the notion "equal opportunities" means that a person should not be denied/offered the chance to reach certain positions based on the fact that he/she was born a male or a female.

    AIMS

    to improve IT-skills
to encourage students to exploit their talents and abilities regardless the gender stereotypes entrenched in different domains of activity (e.g.women pilots, stay-at-home dads etc.)
