Our library is opening...
Once upon a time in Söke..
This is a story of a school with no library.. Before this project, there weren't any books or library. But thanks to this project, this school has many books and an open library now. The physical conditions of this school wasn't suitable to have a library. There were no empty rooms to open a library. After some brainstorming with students, we decided to put bookcases into the school corridor and have an open library. We said "Don't lock the books into the closed places." The books must be reached easily by students. And students must have the responsibity to use a library actively and keep it tidy. So we have taken help from different volunteer people and groups about bookcases and collecting books. So we have a library now and our students read them enthusiastically.

Bu kütüphanesi olmayan bir okulun öyküsü.. Bu projeden önce bu okulda kitaplar veya kütüphane yoktu. Ama bu proje sayesinde, bu okulun artık bir açık kütüphanesi ve birçok kitabı var. Okulun fiziki koşulları kütüphane açmaya uygun değildi. Kütüphane oluşturacak boş bir sınıf yoktu. Öğrencilerle bir miktar beyin fırtınasından sonra, kitaplıkları okul koridoruna koymaya ve açık bir kütüphane oluşturmaya karar verdik.Dedik ki:" Kitapları kapalı yerlerde bırakmayın. " Kitaplara öğrenciler kolayca erişebilmeli ve kütüphaneyi aktif ve düzenli kullanma sorumluluğunu öğrenciler almalı. Kitaplıklar ve kitap toplama konusunda gönüllü kişi ve derneklerden yardım aldık. Şimdi artık bir kütüphanemiz var ve öğrenciler hevesle kitap okuyorlar.
