Our pre-school is located in a historic town Gniezno in Poland. We host 11 classes of 25 children each. 2 teachers and one helper are responsible for each group of children. We make our kindergarten welcoming and caring for all students, paying special attention to children with special educational needs and of foreign origin. We are open to other cultures and countries as we want our pupils not only  to become aware of European diversity but also enable them to discover our European heritage.

Our school hosts a hundred students aged 6 to 11, supervised by 5 teachers and a librarian. Our team works in synergy with the nursery school, which is a partner in this Erasmus +, project, but also with the nearby college and local associations. Aulnay’s elementary school is located  in ZRR (Rural Revitalization Zone) so its students benefit a lot from the project. It allows our students to become citizens of the world and to open up to other European countries and cultue. We also see the project as a means to fight against first signs of dropping out of school. In addition, game is a universal language: thanks to it, all children can exchange with foreign partners and thus open up and discover other cultures, become and feel Europeans. The implementation of this unifying project will also open the school to better cooperation with parents and local community.
