We celebrated the eTwinning Day and the annual theme of Democratic Participation. My students traveled through the eTwinning Galaxy and its 5 planets: Planet of Human Rights, Planet of Law and Decision-Making, Planet of Environment, Planet of Media and Planet of History.

Preparing for the eTwinning day 2019 , 9 of may 2019: this year we had the opportunity to host at our school mr Dimitrios Fatouros the UNRIC Communication Officer for Greece and Cyprus who introduced us to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030.

Students took in account those goals and started to create wordclouds with the web2.0 tool WordArt in order to create the planets for our own eTwinning Galaxy!

eTwinning Day at IES Escultor Juan de Villanueva, Pola de Siero, Spain

The school community participated in a survey sharing their thought about the advantages of being European and what they have learned about Europe and their partners participating in eTwinning projects. We presented the opinions on the walls of the school and also on this video.
