List of tasks to do before the meeting :

- prepare jam with mysterious fruit or vegetable of your country. This preparation will be tasted during the meeting to make students discover by themselves the mysterious fruit or vegetable, as a blind-test game ;

- prepare an experiment about conservation by smoking, but not meat or fish ;

- create 2 posters about conservation by smoking and sugaring with scientifics knowleges (physics and/or chimicals facts) ;

- create a comic page as an A3 poster about the students european feeling ;

- videos or numeric presentation can be done.

Recommandations to visit Guadeloupe :

- As in much of the Caribbean, the Zika virus is present in Guadeloupe and can cause deasises. For this reason it's extremely important to cover your body, use mosquito repellent. Symptoms of Zika are mild fever, joint and muscle pain, headaches, skin rash and/or conjunctivitis, which normally last for between a few days a week.

- Mosquitoes can also carry dengue fever.

- There are no compulsory vaccinations needed to enter Guadeloupe.

- Medical care in Guadeloupe is equivalent to mainland France: very good.

- Dec–May the weather is warm and dry, and the average humidity is around 77%.

- Jul–Nov The wettest period, when rain falls about 14 days a month and the average humidity reaches 85%. It's also the hurricane period.
