Visit to Navàs

  • We are really looking forward to welcoming you all in Navàs, our hometown. Apart from the sport that we have created (we'll give you all the details when you get here!), we have created other activites for you to enjoy the visit and learn a little bit more from us and our country. Here you have all the details you need to know about how the week is going to unfold. We hope you like it!

     

    TRAVELLING DETAILS

    Polish visitors:

    • Arrival: 24th February at 18:45 in Barcelona Airport – between 20.30 and 21 in Navàs School if you come by a different transport than the Romanian visitors
    • Departure: 28th February (Barcelona Airport)*
    • 6 students, 1 mother and 1 teacher

     

    Romanian visitors:

    • Arrival: 24th February at 21:15 (Barcelona Airport) – around 23:00 in Navàs School
    • Departure: 28th February (Barcelona Airport)*
    • 7 students and 4 teacher

    *Both of them will leave Navàs on Thursday at 8:00 and will spend the last night in Barcelona.

    around 20:30 (Poland)/ 23:00 (Romania) Arrival in EDN Navàs, students meeting with host families and they spend the evening/have dinner with them.

    8:00 – 10:00 Presentation

     

    10:00 – 12:25 Breakfast and Ice-breaking games

     

    12:25 – 14:35

    Snack and invented sports practice

     

    13:30 – 14:30 Lunch*

     

    15:30 – 16:00 After-lunch games at the school

     

    16:00 – 18:00 Gymkhana around the town

     

    (teachers will have some tapas, students have dinner at home)

     

    18:00 Going home and dinner with families*

    8:00 Meeting at school and leave for Montserrat Monastery by bus

     

    11:00 – 13:00 Guided visit around the audiovisual exhibition

     

    13:00 - 14:00 Listening to “L’escolania”

     

    14:00 Lunch in Montserrat (picnic from home. Teachers will be given a picnic as well) - White t-shirts signature among students

     

    16:00 Going back home and getting ready for dinner. Free afternoon with families.

     

    20:00 Catalan dinner with teachers, parents and eTwinning students at the school

     

     

    8:00 Meeting at the school, saying goodbye to students and leaving for Barcelona by bus

     

    10:00 Arrival in Barcelona and check-in at the hostels + visit the city

    Departures

     

    *Lunch Tuesday 22nd – we will all have lunch in Primary School Sant Josep, which is next to EDN (our high school).

     

    EXPENSES

    Some of the expenses that students should consider while they are here are:

    • Lunch and dinner for Thursday 24th in Barcelona, meals for Friday 25th
    • Transport in Barcelona (subway or transport to the airport…)
    • Any souvenirs they want to buy
    • Teachers breakfasts will be provided by the school. On Tuesday, teachers will have lunch at the primary school and on Wednesday we will provide something as picnic. On Monday we can have something for dinner in a bar or give you a sandwich on you arrival (something fast as you will be tired…).

    Students marked in YELLOW are from Balsareny (5 minutes from Navàs by bus) and they come by bus every day to be at school at 8:00. Since the bus is already full, some of the students with their visitors will come to school by a teacher’s car during this week.

    Students marked in GREEN are from Sallent (10 minutes from Navàs by bus) and they come by bus every day to be at school at 8:00. Since the bus is already full, some of the students with their visitors will come to school by a teacher’s car during this week.

     

    Students marked in BLUE are from Navàs, so they can go home on foot.
