RACE ON!

The game you are going to play is called Race On! It is played in 4 teams and, of course, it includes the idea of the Romanian students for an invented sport.

THE PLAYERS

There are 4 teams and 2 referees. The teams can consist of as many players as possible, but only 4 students will play in each round. The referees observe the game and they award points to the winning teams in the winning order. The first team gets a red card (4 points), the second one a yellow card (3 points), the third one a blue card (2 points) and the last one a green one (1 point).

THE PITCH

There are 4 lanes. Each team selects 4 players that will sit at the opposite ends of the lanes.

THE RULES

There are going to be 6 races:

1. Relay race or run as fast as you can.

2. Hold that potato!!

3. Jumping human bags

4. Run on…3 legs.

5. Headball (The Romanian game)

6. May the strongest team win (rope pulling)

Now… ask your Romanian team members how each round is played. In case you need help, call for a teacher.

Before each game, if you had won an advantage, you can announce you want to play it.
