    French team

During the week of November 19 to 23, 2018, we welcomed our European partners.

They introduced us to their schools. The students of teacher Nadine's class demonstrated dancing and singing to them.

We even introduced them to French pastries… yum!

We went to visit  the Caves at Lascaux.

    Visit to Odense, Denmark

In June 2019 it was time to experience the Danish school system and to explore Rosengårdskolen in Odense. The Danish team were very excited and they were greatly looking forward to the visit og to showing the delegation as much as possible of the everyday life and school days in Denmark as well as some of our proud cultural sights.

Here Audray from France is teaching students from year 5 a French Math game.

On Wednesday we went with year 5 on a field trip to our school gardens. Close by the school we learn how to grow vegetables and how to prepare them. We start out early in the year by planting the seeds, then we regularly tend the plants and finish the project with eating our own home grown food.

Here a student is chopping wood for the cooking fire (a part of the food project)

In one the breaks year 5 challenged the international delegation in a game of football. The students won of course :)
