Make sure the words are audible in your students’ videos
Tell them not to use copy-right music on their video: Youtube could have it muted or removed (this HAS happened in past projects)
Use a site for licensed music like:
Jamedo Music
https://www.jamendo.com
Bensound
http://www.bensound.com/.jamendo.com
Videvo
http://www.videvo.net/
These sites sometimes request that you credit them in your video: remind your students to do so when requested
When the video is ready upload the video on Youtube (or Vimeo). Set it as “not listed”: this way only those who have the link can see it
Obtain the embed code and paste it onto the project journal … or … add the video on “materials” and I’ll put it on the project journal
Don’t post more than a video on the same day: the students deserve their moment of fame, when their video is the first thing one sees on the twinspace
Ask your students to guess the identity of the mysterious guest as soon as the video is posted using “add a comment”. The first student who guesses is awarded a “cup” on the “guessing contest” page
Encourage your students to view the videos from home in order to be the first who guesses right
The students are NOT supposed to guess on videos made by their nationality
Each time a student guesses right I will update the guessing contest. At the end there will be a final winner
