Compassion towards Nature and others is the LANGUAGE that our HEARTs will speak during the week of Earth Day celebration in which pupils will commit to organize volunteering actions which will echo what goes into their hearts. Take a look at the outcomes of the activities in the PADLET below where you will find the report, timeline and video of the actions.
The main goal of our final collaborative activity is clearly expressed by John Muir: "Keep close to Nature’s HEART ... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
As Albert Einstein said: "A human being is part of the whole called by us ‘universe' - a part limited in time and space. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
