DETAILED MEETING MINUTES - FIRST DAY (MONDAY, October the 29th)
Introduction and team building
First day
The first day of the LTTA1 started with a morning session and welcoming from the director, followed by a team building activity – towers of confidence, that appeals to creativity, collaborative work and has the aim of breaking each closed group by integrating students of all the partner nationalities,
After the break, all the participants were introduced with the daily working agenda. The purpose of the activities was for the students to become acquainted with each other, to cooperate as a team, to socialize and develop their communication skills in English. The games used were “say” or “do” and “towers of confidence” – both developed the interaction among students who didn’t know previously and had to work in a cooperative, creative and critical way.
The working session of the first day ended with a visit to the library of the municipality – Factory of Words in Vila Franca de Xira.
The participating students were satisfied with proposed activities, they were very cooperative and showed a genuine interest for learning, sharing their ideas and contributing for the effective completion of the working session.
MEETING MINUTES - SECOND DAY (TUESDAY, October the 30th)
Topic-related activities:
Second day
- Workshop on digital libraries
- Practice on app for creating digital access to books
The second day of the LTTA1 started with the introduction of the daily agenda activities. Students attended a “lesson” on how to create digital libraries and put books and information at anyone reach.
The session was provided by Cristina Cruz – history and librarian teacher – a well recognised trainer in the field.
The afternoon was dedicated to the application of the apps introduced in the morning.

Third day
- Classes presented by teachers and students

According to the agenda, the third working day was divided in two parts: one filled with presentations about literature classes using smart apps to make it more interesting and conveying a new way of learning.
The afternoon all students went to visit the Lisbon oceanarium – the visit also included a workshop on endangered species: how to be smart to preserve the oceans.
Before leaving to the oceanarium, coordinator teachers found a place to meet and to discuss issues related to the ongoing project:

MEETING MINUTES - FOURTH DAY (THURSDAY, November, the 1st)
Fourth day
Cultural awareness day
The 1st of November is a national holiday in Portugal – so the whole group took the time to get to know some of the most iconic points of Lisbon and its surrounding: Belém – smart sailors ‘village from where they sailed across the oceans in the 15th century, Cascais: river and sea, Guincho – the open ocean, Cabo da Roca – where Europe ends and Sintra – the romantic village.

Fifth day
