Work Process

  • January:

    -Adding pupils to twinspace.

    -Creating a project map.

    -Creating transnational pupil teams.

    -Creating a facebook and whatsapp group for a faster communicaiton among us. (If you want you can add your pupils to the facebook group).

    -Preparing a project board at schools for introducing our project.

    -Arranging an online meeting among teachers to discuss the activities.

     

    *Each team will study on a subject and create a game about the subject they work. The team that will prepare the game will not participate the competition, the other pupils will compete with each other. The first three students will be awarded with a small gift by their teachers and get points.

     

    February:

    IceBraking Activities

    1. Students and teachers will introduce themselves briefly. They can use some tools such as voki, tellegami or take a video. They can mention about their age, physical appearances, personalities, hobbies and interests.

     

             b)  First Game “Who is who?” and “Learn about my school” : The first team will prepare some questions about the introductions of pupils and teachers. Also this team will  make videos which they will introduce their schools by speaking English and prepare some questions about their schools, too. They will communicate with each other by using the tool “google doc”. They’ll be able to write their questions and chat with each other on this tool. The tool “quizizz” will be used for the game.The other students will watch the introductions of all students and videos of the schools, and then compete with each other by participating quizizz game.

    For making videos we can use animoto, fantashow, movimaker, vivavideo etc.

     

    March:

         a) The game “Explore my city”

              The second team will make videos or presentations which will introduce their cities . Then they’ll prepare some questions about the cities. They will communicate with each other by using the tool “google doc”. They’ll be able to write their questions and chat with each other on this tool.

              In the city introduction video or presentation they’ll mention about general information (location of the city, population, the meaning of the name of the city etc.) , historical places and local dishes.

    The tool “quizizz” will be used for the game.The other students will watch the introductions of all students and videos of the schools, and then compete with each other by participating quizizz game.

    For making videos or presentations we can use animoto, fantashow, movimaker, vivavideo, prezi, genial.ly, emaze etc.

         



     

        b) The game “Explore my country”

            The third team will make videos or presentations which will introduce their countries . Then they’ll prepare some questions about the countries. They will communicate with each other by using the tool “google doc”. They’ll be able to write their questions and chat with each other on this tool.

              In the country introduction video they’ll mention about general information (location of the country, population, capital city, flag of the country etc.) , the most important historical places , cultural heritages and some famous traditional dishes.

    The tool “quizizz” will be used for the game.The other students will watch the introductions of all students and videos of the schools, and then compete with each other by participating quizizz game.

    For making videos or presentations we can use animoto, fantashow, movimaker, vivavideo, prezi, genial.ly, emaze etc.

             

     

    April:

    1. The game “Learn my language”

               The fourth team will arrange this competition. They’ll select some important words and expressions from their languages and prepare an educational video including these words and expressions, their meanings and pronunciations and a dialogue between students in which they use these words and expressions. Then all the students will watch all the videos and they’ll practise these words and expressions and they’ll take a video of these dialogues. Also the tool “Cram” will be used for the competition. These words and expressions will be written in the system and a new game will be created. We as partners will add our students to site of Cram so they can compete with eachother.            Examples for words and Expressions

    May:

    1. The game “Learn about famous people of my country”

                The fifth team will arrange the competition. They’ll prepare a presentation or a video in which they introduce famous people in their countries briefly such as scientists, footballers, singers, great learders. Then all the students will watch these videos or have a look at the presentations. After that the fifth team will prepare some questions about the famous people. They will communicate with each other by using the tool “google doc”. They’ll be able to write their questions and chat with each other on this tool.

    The tool “quizizz” will be used for the game.The other students will compete with each other by participating quizizz game.

     

    b) The game "Learn our national days and festivals"

         The sixth team will arrange the competition. They’ll prepare a presentation or a video in which they introduce national days and festivals in their countries.Then all the students will watch these videos or have a look at the presentations. After that the sixth team will prepare some questions about national days and festivals. They will communicate with each other by using the tool “google doc”. They’ll be able to write their questions and chat with each other on this tool. The tool “quizizz” will be used for the game.The other students will compete with each other by participating quizizz game.

     

    June:

    a) Project evaluation (Student and teacher evaluation): We can use the tool "google form" .

     

    b) Creating the olympic magazine of the project : We can use the tool "Joomag" for creating the magazine.
