    OUTCOMES.

    1. Results of a survey about the origin of our food items, local food, international food and the increasing loss of traditional dishes. Each country will show its traditional dishes which are often linked to a festival.
    2. A compettion among students on their knowledge of green food.

    Report on local and global food. Analysis of the relationship between food and environment
    Students’ ideas on how to develop food sustainability.

    During the meeting the students showed the results of the previous tasks proposed and shared their reports on : Globalized food / Local food/ Food and environment/Green and organic food/ Fair trade: economic and environmental benefits, suggesting ideas on how to develop food sustainability.
    The final assessment competition about the knowledge of green food was successfully carried out, showing the students’ increasing awareness of the importance to choose food items which do not damage the environment.
    Most of the activities were focused on making students responsible consumers , disseminating what they have learnt at home and in the school community , so that they could influence familiar eating habits towards a “green “choice.


    Next working topics and fields:
    According to the program, the following activities will be focused on developing healthy eating habits.
    Students will have to work on a survey (through a questionnaire) about family meals and free-time meals (school meals if provided), dealing with time and composition of meals, evaluation of the quality of nutrition. They will have to analyze and compare results, suggesting proposals to change unhealthy eating habits.
    Eventually they could bring typical ingredients from their country to cook a traditional dish and organize a dinner together.
     

    Agreements and commitments:
    As far as the learning activity in France is concerned it would be better to arrange the closing of the meeting in the early morning of Friday 12th October (no later than 10.30 a.m.) so if there is availability of a cheaper flight/connection , some delegations may leave on that day, saving costs.
    Mobility Tool and budget: keeping a record of expenses/activities and dissemination events/ updating details of participants for previous meetings.
