Activity 3 : OUR SUDOMATHS (Description)
Pupils work in pairs.
Each group draws lots one Sudoku grid, solves it, and writes some calculations and definitions to make discover the numbers already present in the grid. So they use the mathematical vocabulary and skills about numeracy and geometry.
Then each group creates his game on the computer (using Microsoft Word), and prepares a second document with the solution.
All French and Polish games and solutions will be brought together by teachers in an ebook. We could print the results as a magazine, and give an exemplary to each pupil.
FRANCE - We began to work on some Sudoku grids January 29th
Last week, the French pupils began to play with several Sudoku grids I proposed.

Today, each group drew lots a grid among 12 grids (level 1 or level 2).
That will be the grid they will use to create their Sudomaths by groups.

Then pupils went to the ICT classroom and trained to create grids using the Word Microsoft software.
POLAND - we began to work with SUDOKU grids, February 10th

FRANCE - We are creating our Sudomaths (February 2015)
Hi Poland !
In the last weeks, we worked in the ICT classroom to create our sudomaths.
We created a Word document where we inserted our sudoku grid, with letters instead of the numbers to discover.
Here is an example of the first step of our work::
The most of our groups finished this work, and last thursday, we began to create the definitions needed to make discover our sudoku grid.

POLAND - creating Sudomaths, February 25th
Hi France!
Pupils from Wrocław worked on creating their Sudomaths in the ICT classroom. They draw Sudomaths grids using Microsoft Word, put the letters instead of numbers and tried to compose some equations. This time they used operations on the numbers. You can see our classes:
