Our work plan

  • INTRODUCTION

Welcome exchanges: The teachers post an article with one or several pictures and a little text introducing themselves, their school and their city.

    DECEMBER

Get to know each other: Each school posts a Padlet “Who is Who? “ with pictures of the students and small texts introducing the students separated from the pictures. This will be done on the journal and added on the page. Each partner is invited to guess “who is who” in the comment section.

Assessment: Each partner is invited to guess “who is who” in the comment section.

    JANUARY

Our local art:  Each school posts the name, portrait and one piece of work of two local artists:

    • One specialised in comic books
    • Another in more classical or traditional arts (it can be any type of art)

    Each school team should :

    • Research these artists on the internet
    • React to these posts

Assessment: Each student vote for one foreign artist their favoured on "Tricider".

    FEBRUARY

A video: Each school posts a short video about the/one of the craft studied by the students from Youtube. It can be also another form of art if you want to. The only criteria is that, it should be quite traditionnal and local.

Assessment: Three questions about each video are delivered on "FlipQuiz". Each teacher is then invited to show the videos to the classroom and then the questionnaire.

    MARCH/ APRIL

IMPORTANT: By March, it is recommended that each team starts to create their comic book (you can check the guidelines on the twinspace) . As this will take a certain amount of time, there will be only one activity for march and april.

A piece of our comic book: Each school team posts a page or two with pictures which will be used for the comic book.

Assessment: Each student is invited to discuss on the forum about their comic book, their school and so on. This can also be done under the form of an online chat or a videoconference.

    MAY

Our comic book: Each team delivers its comic book on a pdf format (so we can assemble all the chapters together) and on a ebook format on the twinspace (You can use "Issuu" or "Simplebooklet" to transform your pdf into an ebook)

Assessment: Each student is invited to write a Farewell message on a general "Padlet" and add an element of their choice ( audio/video message, drawing, snap...). This should be preferably done on a cell phone.

    THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Any form of promotion of our project is welcome during the year. It can be an exhibition, a website article, a video on Youtube. Each promotion should be posted on the related page.

    IMPACT OF THE PROJECT

Students and teachers fill in a Google form questionnaire. The general padlet used for farewell messages can also serve as an evaluation of the project.
