Through this project we want to promote a common European consciousness around the issue of immigration in our schools, raising awareness for our students that immigration could be an advantage rather than a drawback. We want to educate school children to live in heterogeneous environments and create social cohesion, building community through diversity. Our students have to accept the differences between our cultures, such as language and religion, while recognizing the similarities. We would also like them to develop a greater understanding of their own identity and heritage.
