4. Traditional games

  • The groups involved in the project do a research and try their traditional games, the games their parents and grandparents used to play while attending Primary School. Although, they didn't know mobile phones or computers, they didn't play video games or watch much TV, they spend breaks and after-school time making their friendships stronger, building positive relations, learning new skills and having fun.

Variety of games show that the kids learn tradition, school subjects, propper pronunciation and stay fit.

In the subpages each partner group presents a set of games:

    Ampelonas, Greece

    Purda, Poland

    Mohelnice, the Czech Republic

    Zitavany, Slovakia

    Corigliano Calabro, Italy

All the other groups and visitors are invited to try the games, learn rhymes and discuss similarities or differences at dedicated international workshop subpages:

    Greek games workshop

    Polish games workshop

    Czech games workshop

    Slovakian games workshop

    Italian games workshop

    - What do the games tell about our nations?

    - How do they build a bridge between cultures or generations?

We proudly present the outcome of our cooperation in building the culture bridge. Enjoy!
