  • Spanish Mobility

    Spain (Gijón) 22-28th January 2018

     

    From the 22nd to the 28th of January 2018, the first mobility of the Citizen Science at School (CSS) Erasmus+ KA219 Project took place in Gijón. The project, coordinated by CODEMA has a two-year duration (2017-2019) and is based in the exchange of good STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) teaching practices among the following schools:

    -Lycee Marguerite Yourcenar (France)

    -Sint Donatus Instituut (Belgium)

    -Gymnazium Boticska (Czech Rp)

    Over the week of the mobility, nineteen students from the partner schools stayed at Gijón and lived with their spanish host families. All in all, 38 students and 16 teachers (10 from CODEMA) took part in the activities of the project, that had great impact in the whole spanish school from Primary to last year of Secondary. The agenda had different institutional activities (meeting at the Town Hall with the Mayor of Education); workshops at the school (scape room, Codema Go! and Sound Workshop, visits to the primary students of CODEMA, opening the European Fair, visits to the Engineering University, and cultural activities (visit to Oviedo, Gijón and Mining Museum).

    The Spanish mobility is the first of the four that will take place over the project, the next one will take place in Belgium in April 2018.
