College Claude Nicolas Ledoux - FRANCE

  • Hello European fellows!

We are a secondary school based in the heart of the Champagne region.

We are situated in a little town of about 3,000 inhabitants and our school has around 450 pupils.

Most of the students come from the surrounding villages, in the countryside. If you can drive around you will discover a beautiful scenery, with vineyards all around.

In our city you can find the memorial of the end of the WWI.

We live in the north-east of France, an hour away from Paris. Our biggest city is Reims. This is where kings of France where crowned in the beautiful cathedral.

We are 2 classes of 6e (Year 7 in England), the 6D and 6E. We are 10 or 11 years old and there are 60 pupils in total.

In France, Christmas is an important family gathering. On the 24th, we have a big dinner and if we are lucky, we can stay up long enough to wait for the arrival of Father Christmas. Sometimes we go to bed early and we discover our presents at the foot of our Christmas tree. We put our shoes at the foot of the tree so that Father Christmas can know where to put the presents.

We are so happy to join you in this project. We are currently voting for the songs we are going to perform for you.
