Dissemination workshops in VI LO

The last Tuesday of this school year in VI LO was devoted to public speaking. There were three separate workshops for our first and second year secondary school students as well as our middle school pupils. The event was also attended by students from another high school in Bydgoszcz and their teachers.

 

PASE Conference in Warsaw

May 12th 2018

Oxford University Press invited Mrs Izbaner to prepare a training session for the 4th European Language Congress organised by the Polish Association for Standards in Language Education (PASE) in Warsaw. Her workshop Step by step guide to Oxford debates was accompanied by a debate between four Speak Up students and another team.

School Open Day

VI LO Open Day (Secondary School no 6 Open Day) is an important event taking place in Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących nr 6 in Bydgoszcz every spring. Prospective candidates and their parents are invited to visit VI LO, listen to our Principal Dr Wiesława Burlińska introduce our school (with Erasmus+ projects playing a prominent part in her presentation), talk to our students and teachers and get a feel of the place. This year one of the information stands was devoted to all the Erasmus+ projects carried out at school. The Speak Up team was responsible for promoting the Erasmus+ KA2 programme, the "Speak up, even if your voice shakes" and "Richtung: Erfolg!" projects as well as our partner countries, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Turkey.
