Our Como City Map was developed by our children of Grade 5 in 2018, to be used during the visit of the Spanish students. They drew the map, the stickers of the monuments and they wrote the descriptions, both in Italian and in English.
This is the image of our final version of the map, with a special facilitated path for people with disabilities.

Our map was presented to the local press and the Como City Administration in February 2018.
Our children of Grade 5 and Middle School donated the Map to the Mayor of Como, Mr Landriscina, during the visit of our Erasmus+ partners. February 2018.
We used our map to explore Como with our Spanish friends. We were helped by the Local Police, all our teacher colleagues and many parents.
Our experience was great. Everyone was very excited to find the monuments, learn about them and glue the right sticker. So, we decided to repeat our monument hunt with our families in May 2018. We call our event "Map Family Day".
In June 2018 the Montessori School of Bergamo asked us if we could give them a copy of our map: they wanted to use it as a model for their own new map.
Of course we said yes, and we invited the children of Grade 5 to tour Como with us and our map.
They came in October 2018. Our tour was done in English.
The children from the Montessori School of Bergamo invited us to explore their city and test the map that they had developed.
Here is the map of Bergamo.
These are the photos of our tour of Bergamo.
We were invited by the Bergamo City Council.
We donated our map - and we are very proud of it - to the Representatives of the City Administration.
Our Erasmus+ project will finish soon, but our Como City Map will last, as well as our partnership with Bergamo.
Come and visit us in Como! We can show you our city and give you our map!
