Die Auszeichnung auf nationaler Ebene bedeutet, dass ein Qualitätssiegel nicht zentral für ein Projekt (und alle Partner) beantragt und verliehen wird, sondern dass Projektbeteiligte - insbesondere verschiedener Länder - sich individuell bei ihrer jeweiligen Koordinierungsstelle um ein Siegel bewerben müssen. Auf diese Weise wird gewährleistet, dass nur tatsächlich geleistete Projektarbeit honoriert wird und weniger aktive Projektpartner nicht unrechtmäßig profitieren. Außerdem qualifiziert sich das Projektteam mit der Verleihung des eTwinning-Qualitätssiegels für die Teilnahme an weiteren interessanten Wettbewerben innerhalb des eTwinning-Netzwerks.
The award at the national level means that a quality label is not applied and granted central for a project (and all partners), but that project participants - especially in different countries - have to apply individually in their respective NSS for a quality label. In this way it is ensured that only actually performed project work will be rewarded and not benefit less active project partners. In addition, the project team will be qualified with the awarding of the eTwinning quality label for taking part in other interesting competitions within the eTwinning network.

Félicitations ! Le label de qualité vient d'être attribué à votre travail dans eTwinning. Un excellent projet (...) original et créatif. Les élèves répartis en équipes transnationales créent des projets d’inventions et participent ensemble à un concours international. Les TICE sont extrêmement bien utilisés, les élèves sont inscrits et utilisent toutes les potentialités du Twinspace, l’organisation des partenaires et le calendrier sont limpides. Un projet sans aucun défaut ! Toutes nos félicitations ainsi qu’à vos élèves, tout laisse à croire que nous n’avons pas fini d’entendre parler de ce projet exemplaire.
