1. Discover the project:  what does it take to participate in an astronaut school?
2. Apply for a spot in this unique school.  Make sure your competencies match what the committee is looking for.
3. Plan the itinerary: learn about the planets you will visit, and propose visiting new ones to the committee.
4. Give and take interviews with journalists to share your experiences.
5. Blast off for space:  record your conversations with Mission Control and prepare a transcript for posterity.
6. Describe the planets and unusual encounters you make while in space.
7. After your journey, write your memoirs for future astronaut school pupils.
