Project Overview

In this project, pupils in Year 8 (ages 11-12)  from two British international sections will practice writing.  By imagining a scenario in which they take off in a rocketship to fly into outer space, they will have the opportunity to accomplish numerous, different writing tasks in a fun, playful manner.  For inspiration, they will read scence-fiction stories from science fiction author, Ray Bradbury.  The project will culminate in an e-magazine which brings together all the different writing the pupils have done.  This project was inspired by the teaching scheme of work "Come Fly With Me", found on www.teachit.co.uk.

Participants

This project brings together two schools from opposite ends of France, Normandy and Provence.
