Hello from Czech republic
CĒSU JAUNĀ SĀKUMSKOLA, Latvija
(CESIS NEW SCHOOL; Latvia)
There are 100 pupils in our school (55 - 1st grade to 6th grade; 45 - pre school). We are going through our 5th school year. We ar quite young. There are 6 to 12 pupils at class. So we are fairly small. Our school year theme this year is "Fairy tales and stories" - right now we read fairy tales and stories, we are discussing about it. On Christmas time we are going to have our 1st fairy tale carnival.
Cesis is small city in Vidzeme (one part of Latvia). Cesis has beautiful old city.
There are some pictures of 2nd grade pupil - 8/9 year old clever, funny and sweet children.
HERE WE ARE:
Our eTwinning wall. Maps of Latvia and Europe (we found each one of you :) )

And this is our classroom.
PRIMARY SCHOOL ZLATAR BISTRICA, CROATIA
In our school there are 205 students in twelve different classes. Our school is the first generation of international eco schools and it has a permanent diamond status. Zlatar Bistrica is a small place in the north-west part of Croatia in the region called Hrvatsko zagorje. The slogan of our region is Fairy tale on a palm and it is known for Krapina Neanderthal Museum where people can learn about the prehistoric life. It is a beautiful hilly region with lots of natural sights and preserved environment, many old castles, churches and thermal spas. A lot of school activities are aimed to nurture these natural beauties. Students from all classes participate every year in many projects concerning environment, ecology, cultural heritage, history, geography, etc. Some of the projects are International food day, Schools for Africa, different kinds of eTwinning projects, Carnival Day, Biodiversity monitoring and International Sport Day.
