The Little Prince in the Religion Class

  •  In this page you can see the activities made in the Religion Class with 2nd graders, 3rd grades and 5th graders.

    With the book of the little prince we have worked values. I have focused on the students in order to understand first of all, that the key of people is the inside, and that although sometimes there are things inside that are not quite good we can try to change them.

    In the 2nd grade we made boxes, which I have related to the boxes of the lamb. In these boxes the students had to imagine everything good inside and try to see inside. I think the activity was very positive because they discovered that "the essential is invisible to the eyes" and that we all have lot of good things.

    Change the planet: activity to look for alternatives to the "strange" planets the little prince visits.

    Activity in 3nd and 5nd grade

    The activity carried out in the third and fifth graders consisted of the students changing the book of the little prince.
    They had to invent a new planet to which the little prince traveled and in which he could find "something good". With this activity I wanted to work the values ​​and that the students saw the bad planets that sometimes we have inside us as they are: the egoism, the racism, the little time that we dedicate to the others ... and thus, try to change them by values ​​of Openness and welcome to others. After the explanation of the planet they had to make a drawing of the planet.
