The Gazion High School theatrical group performed the theatrical play "In The Refugees' Path" . The play took place on Thursday 6th of April 2017 at the 7th Lyceum of Heraklion during the soiree with title “Refugees through history, art, school. Educational interventions in sensibility and learning remodeling” in collaboration with Mrs Kalokiri Liana, School Counselor in Educational matters.
The play is about the key refugee matter and aims in promoting civilian awareness and school’s engagement in the modern social reality. Special emphasis is given in the timelessness of this phenomenon, as the act’s trilogy begins from Euripides’s Troades(The Trojan Women) whilst reference is made to Asia Minor catastrophe and today’s Syria refugees.
