PAINTINGS 
Greek pupils use their imagination and creativity and draw paintings insipred by the theatrical performance "In the refugees' path" along with their visit to the cartoon exhibition "MADE IN EUROPE".
The theatrical performance is a trilogy of plays that deals with the refugee crisis from ancient to modern times whearas the cartoon exhibition was created by the award-winning cartooninst Michalis Kountouris. The exhibition was hosted in the Basilica of Saint Mark, Heraklion, Crete, Creece and was dedicated to the refugee issue. The pupils had the opportunity to have a face-to-face interaction with the artist asking him questions and sharing thoughts and feelings with him.

Pupils of Gymnasio Gaziou, Heraklion, Crete made theatrical masks which were used in the Erasmus+ programme "Omnes cives mundi sumus" in a theatrical performance in Amsterdam.
The programme deals with the delicate topic of refugee crisis from ancient times to present highlighting its timelessness. Moreover, it aims at creating awareness of responsibility, feelings of empathy and reflection of values and human rights both in pupils and teachers so as to take action and deal with the present situation.

Pupils of Gymnasio Gaziou created maquette models that depict various stories of refugees. Choose one of them and write a piece of literature (e.g. a short story, a poem, a newspaper report, an article). Go to FORUM and place your work on the LITERATURE thread.
